Employers are also more comfortable firing / letting workers go after the holidays are over. Do be sure to keep track of where you're sending your resume and start practicing your pitch. Try honing your interview skills by practicing with a friend or in front of a webcam. And don't forget to send thank you notes and follow up on your interviews!
